A self-directed alternative to a traditional CDL school

Get Your CDL Quick offers vehicle rental and limited vehicle familiarization for customers who arrive with previously acquired knowledge and skills from experience or independent self-study. This service model is intended as an alternative to a traditional CDL school program. The paid rental and familiarization services do not provide a comprehensive beginner curriculum or classroom instruction. Customers prepare and progress according to their existing ability.

Required FMCSA ELDT behind-the-wheel training is a separate, proficiency-based activity. Our Texas Workforce Commission exemption request is pending; TWC has not granted an exemption. Describing the business as an alternative to a school does not establish its regulatory status.

Study multiple-trailer combinations separately

Doubles and triples is an endorsement knowledge topic distinct from the core Combination knowledge area. Our illustrations show the difference between two-trailer and three-trailer combinations. Use the Texas commercial driver handbook to study coupling considerations, inspection, stability and multiple-trailer handling.

Illustrations are not an equipment reservation

The pictured configurations support study and comparison. Do not assume doubles or triples equipment is offered for rental or that every configuration may operate on your intended route. Ask about actual equipment availability and verify applicable operating requirements with the appropriate authorities. Online practice access remains in development.

Questions before you arrange service

Does studying doubles and triples replace the Combination knowledge area?

No. Keep the main CLP knowledge areas and endorsement topics separate, and confirm the examinations applicable to your license path.
