Pre-trip: Apply your existing inspection knowledge to the particular vehicle. Staff may identify its components, controls and configuration. Backing: Independently operate the vehicle in the marked area to become familiar with its dimensions and steering response. Road: Self-directed driving familiarization with the Texas DPS CDL road course, including the vehicle’s braking, turns, mirrors and handling, with the legally required accompanying CDL holder. One session up to one hour. These limited activities do not provide a comprehensive beginner curriculum. No credits or units toward a longer course are awarded. If your needs exceed the stated scope or time limit, obtain additional preparation from an appropriately authorized provider. Vehicle use depends on legal eligibility, required documents, safe operation and availability.

Get Your CDL Quick does not offer, certify or submit ELDT Theory. Obtain any required Theory independently from an appropriately listed provider. ELDT Behind-the-Wheel Range and Public Road training is separate from these rental and familiarization prices; request written availability and terms. Completion requires all applicable training and documented proficiency. A booked session or rental does not establish ELDT completion. Texas DPS administers and scores its CDL tests and determines license issuance. We do not guarantee a test route, passing result, license or completion date.

For each paid activity relying on Texas Education Code Section 132.003, we provide the written description and refund policy at least 14 days before it starts. We document delivery and the eligible start date before accepting the applicable booking. This disclosure period is separate from any CLP holding period.

For a covered paid activity, cancel before it begins to receive a full refund of its fee. This includes cancellation because the advertised instructor or qualifications have changed. If you complete at least eight classroom hours or half of the identified course, whichever is less, and are dissatisfied, you may receive a full course-fee refund by requesting it and giving a reasonable written explanation no later than 14 days after the course concludes. A required refund is not replaced with mandatory store credit. For a standalone test rental, the policy provides a full rental-fee and fuel-charge refund if you cancel before vehicle dispatch. After dispatch, only lawful, previously disclosed charges for rental or trip services actually provided or incurred may be retained. No duplicate charge applies. Rights required by law control.
