With deep industry knowledge and a passion for teaching, she brings practical, real-world insight that helps students understand not just how to pass the Texas CDL test, but how to succeed as professional drivers.
Our team also includes Emma, our lead instructor known for her detailed and results-driven teaching style. Emma works closely with students to ensure they master every portion of the Texas DPS CDL skills exam, including the pre-trip inspection procedure, basic control skills such as backing maneuvers, and the on-the-road driving test. Supporting the training team is Amy, a CDL holder who assists with additional instruction and final evaluations to ensure every student is fully prepared before test day.

Meet Missy – Owner and Senior CDL Instructor
Missy proudly serves as the owner and Senior CDL Instructor at Get Your CDL Quick!, one of the first female-owned CDL training facilities in Texas. With more than 21 years of professional commercial driving experience and over 3 million safe miles, Missy brings real-world expertise and leadership to every student she trains.
As a Class A CDL owner-operator, Missy has spent decades hauling freight and hotshot loads across the United States, including extensive work in the oilfield industry since 1999. Her driving experience spans numerous states including Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Dakota, South Dakota, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Arkansas, and Louisiana, giving her firsthand knowledge of the diverse road conditions and operational challenges faced by professional drivers.
Missy has operated heavy commercial equipment including her Ford F-650 air-brake, air-ride truck paired with a 44-foot gooseneck trailer featuring a hydraulic dovetail and air-brake air-suspension system. She has successfully delivered loads on remote oilfield lease roads and through severe winter conditions that challenge even seasoned drivers. Her expertise includes load securement, tarping, chaining, route planning, equipment safety, and real-world trucking operations.
In addition to commercial freight experience, Missy is fully licensed to operate passenger and school buses and provides professional training for drivers seeking Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) CDL endorsements. She specializes in preparing drivers for careers operating entertainer tour buses and motor coaches used by professional music artists and touring production teams.
Missy personally trains many of these drivers, working with clients connected to country, rock, hip-hop, and other major touring artists. Many of these drivers travel from Nashville, Tennessee, Texas, and across the United States to receive specialized passenger bus CDL training. These drivers often obtain both a Passenger Bus CDL endorsement and a Class A CDL so they can legally operate entertainer tour buses with passengers on board including the music entertainer and band while pulling equipment trailers for touring productions and stage gear.
Because of Missy’s industry experience and professional reputation, Get Your CDL Quick! has become a trusted training provider for drivers working in the entertainment and touring industry. Missy personally oversees this training to ensure that drivers understand the unique responsibilities involved in transporting artists, crews, and equipment safely across the country.
